1. Local media processing
PNG, JPEG, WebP, ZIP, TAR, Markdown, and text-file inspection, SHA-256 hashing, image re-encoding, comparison, report generation, and QR-code generation occur in your browser. The application does not send the selected file to an OriginFlux server.
2. Fragment-based reports
Shareable report data is encoded after the # in the verification URL. Standard browsers do not send URL fragments to the host as part of the web request. Anyone who receives the link can read the report data, so do not include information you consider private.
3. Hosting requests
Loading the site necessarily sends standard web-request information to the hosting provider, such as an IP address, browser headers, requested page, and timing information. OriginFlux does not add inspection-session analytics, advertising trackers, or a user-account system at launch.
4. Local downloads
Clean copies, HTML reports, QR codes, and SVG badges are generated locally. Your browser controls where downloads are stored.
5. External services
Links to the official Content Credentials verifier open a third-party service governed by its own terms and privacy policy. OriginFlux does not send your inspected media to that service automatically.
6. Purchases
OriginFlux does not currently operate a checkout or collect payment information. If commerce is added later, this policy will identify the payment and delivery providers before purchases are accepted.
7. Children
OriginFlux is a general creator utility and is not directed to children under 13.
8. Changes
Material policy changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
